Modern comfort in every room/suite, subtly combined with authentic building materials. Excellent facilities in a rural setting. As is typical of old buildings, the rooms are warm and snug in the winter, and cool in the summer. Each retreat has its own front door. In the summer, soak up the sun from your own private terrace. The spacious - and heated - swimming pool is within easy reach. Nature lovers can enjoy the natural splendours from one of the many outdoor terraces along the Molenkreek millpond.
Breakfast room
The breakfast room, which doubles as a conference room, has a fascinating history. It is a former cowshed, lovingly renovated and extended with respect for authenticity. During the renovation of 2008, Tine and Robert decided to save a nearby ash tree, dating from 1920. To preserve the tree, the shed was built around it: this explains why a huge tree can be seen protruding from the roof. The room is fitted with an open fireplace and a jukebox dating from 1947. Outside is a wood-burning fireplace with a cosy outdoor terrace. Throw an extra log on the fire and enjoy a glass of wine with your friends or colleagues.
Cafe Los Amigos
The cafe along the millpond, with its intimate terrace and atmospheric lighting, is a paradise for romantic souls. Enjoy the sunset together, listen to the sounds of Mother Nature while enjoying a glass of wine, what more could you desire....Of course, it is also possible to hold a small party with your friends or colleagues along the water's edge. In Los Amigos, you have a selection of your own nibbles or drinks from a well-stocked bar. Add a bit of music, and the evening is complete.
Swimming pool
The swimming pool lies at the heart of this rural retreat. In 2002, a heated swimming pool measuring 9 x 5 meters was constructed on the site of an old slurry pit. From the water, you can enjoy breathtaking views of the Molenkreek millpond and the estate.
Molenkreek millpond
The Molenkreek is a delight for nature enthusiasts. It is surrounded by many outdoor terraces and places to fish or to find inspiration for your next painting. Enjoy nature at its most beautiful and take time to restore a sense of calm; watch the ducklings swim, the geese land on the water, herons fishing. Or simply relax and listen to birdsong...This is the perfect place to unwind.
